Nokia is in talks with software giant Microsoft in the adoption of Windows Mobile 7 mobile phones produced by the Finnish company.

If an agreement can be reached, Stephen Elop will most likely announce the outcome of the talks Friday, when shareholders will have to submit the company’s development strategy.

Nokia could make a deal with Google for using Android.

Finnish company is struggling to return to the smartphone market, currently dominated by products from Apple and iPhone mobile phones that have operating system Android.
