Microsoft reported profits but look carefully at the competition from tablets PC

The largest software manufacturer in the world, Microsoft announced better than expected profits in the second quarter, but it looks bleak after persepctivele market desktops based on Windows developer has made an advance of only 3,1% .

Microsoft Revenues increased 4,8% between October to December last year to 19.95 billion dollars, while net profit fell slightly, to 6.65 billion dollars.

Microsoft record, in the same period a year earlier, sales of 19.02 billion dollars and net profit of 6.65 billion dollars, according to a report from the company.

Profits in the fourth quarter, second quarter of fiscal year 2010-2011, it exceeded analysts’ estimates because of increasing budgets allocated for investments in technology companies after two years of “tight belt”.
