Orange has launched its own mobile application store

Orange has launched its own application store, Orange App Shop, which allows users to purchase applications for smart phones, which will be paid once the invoice for communication services or PrePay card account, company representatives announced. For starters, the store is available for 10 models of phones with the Android operating system, Java or Symbian.

Hero ten terminals are HTC, HTC Desire, Galaxy-S Samsung, LG GT540, Sony Ericsson X10-mini, Sony Ericsson Satio U1, C5-00 Nokia, Nokia 6303-classic, Nokia 6303i and Nokia 6700-classic. In the coming period will extend the range of compatible phones, and they will have direct access to Orange Shop App menu. Store applications can be downloaded free from the Orange mobile portal and provides access to applications, games, ringtones and wallpapers.

App Shop does not include applications for iPhone and iPad, since they are available only through Apple.
