Google launches Street View in eight cities in Romania

Google, the most popular search engine in the world, launched in Romania Street View, a service that allows users to view panoramic images, first, the eight cities.
The service is currently available in Bucharest, Arad, Oradea, Brasov, Timisoara, Cluj, Constanta and Sibiu. “Future plans on the Street Viw heavily dependent on how the service will be accepted. I think the photos will be updated at intervals of 1-2 years,” said Dan Bulucea, Google country manager in Romania. The service, launched in 2007 in the U.S., covering the streets with a total length of over 6,000 kilometers in the country, Romania is the 27th country where the panoramic images are available.
